THE VINYL EDITIONS — CHOOSE YOUR SIDE
WHY THIS SOUNDTRACK IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER
The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes called for music that felt ancient and modern at once — folk-tinged, emotionally raw, and deeply cinematic. Olivia's contributions hit every one of those marks. The songs feel like they belong to Panem's world while remaining unmistakably hers. On vinyl, the warmth of the pressing brings out every nuance of the production — the acoustic textures, the haunting melodies, the quiet devastation of the lyrics. This is a soundtrack that rewards repeated listening.
